<p dir="auto">The main potentially-interesting thing (to people other than me :)) there is a facility for working with lasercutters.  Allows building up 3D shapes out of 2D pieces (including cutting slots in those pieces for interlocking with other pieces), verifying lack of overlap in 3D (to ensure you haven't mis-modeled reality), and export as 2D DXF for import into Inkscape/VisiCut.</p>

Cool. There are others in the group who are working with laser cutters as well. Maybe you can collobrate to create a nice library for laser cutting.
