      The Issue https://github.com/jscad/OpenJSCAD.org/issues/783
Clean up usability and documentation mess calls for simplifying the access to all JSCAD related resources. Therefore i propose to move this chatroom / usergroup to github discussion to make it more accessible to interested users.
https://github.com/jscad/OpenJSCAD.org/discussions was just opened a few days ago. You are cordially invited to participate there.

it's a good idea but not really good for the general users, as this forum allows users to register via email, github, facebook, etc.

requiring everyone to create a github account is not very nice.

letting users know about the github discussions is good. hopefully, there will be more discussions.

by the way, some folks are also interested in a discord server for jscad.

I love the idea of putting all the docs in markdown in the git repo itself.

The original site could also be hosted in gh-pages branch. There are a bunch of tools to convert markdown to html, so they could be optionally embedded in the app.

          As a stopgap, for anyone needing V1 - there's a copy over at https://creator.buildbee.com
