Hello, after years using a laser cutter (an handmade one to suit my cardboard craftsman needs), I'm now using a new kind of cutter, with a blade, a Cricut Maker, it cannot cut anything too thick but excels with anything else. It already allows me to cut paper so I can use it to decorate my crafts. For the moment I'm using inkscape to create my designs, but I'm certain that there's lots of goods things to create with JSCAD, it only needs to be SVG. Are there others users of blade cutters using jscad ?

@hrgdavor the brand is Cricut and the model I have is a Maker. It doesn't replace a laser cutter but is more convenient for thin materials.

that is actually a cool machine. I use a 3d printer alone, but I think my wife would use this machine too.
Do you have some recommendtations, I feel like buying it:

are there some other useful things there to buy aside from the machine ?

... I mean are there some must haves that would be good to take right away ?

@hrgdavor The Cricut Maker is certainly the best machine of its kind, there's only one thing that it needs, it's the "knife blade", a blade that is like an exacto, same as a drag knife but the way the machine handles it is much better than what can be done with a cnc.

@hrgdavor Yes that's this one. (the Maker comes with a fine-point blade and a rotary blade)
